Dimitris Kloukos

Orthodontist


Orthodontist, Head of the Orthodontic Department at the 251 General Air Force Hospital Senior Lecturer, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, University of Bern, Switzerland
He graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and from the Military School of Officers Corps (SSAS) in 2003, where he was sworn in as a Health Officer of the Hellenic Air Force.

He worked as a general dentist in a private dental clinic in Lemnos for 2 years before specializing in orthodontics.

He completed a 4-year specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Bern, Switzerland, obtaining a specialization degree in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Orthodontics.

He obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Bern, Switzerland, in 2011.

He earned a second postgraduate degree, a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Trials, from the University of London, United Kingdom, in 2015.
He earned his doctoral degree from Malmö University, Sweden, after 7 years of research on the relationship between Orthodontics and Periodontal Health in April 2023.
Currently, he is the Director of the Orthodontic Department at the 251 General Air Force Hospital (251 GNA) and holds a position as an academic collaborator at the University of Bern. He is also working towards obtaining a professorship at the University of Bern, Switzerland.

His expertise spans the entire spectrum of Orthodontics, with a particular interest in the intersection of orthodontic treatment and periodontal tissues, as well as the use of digital diagnostic and treatment tools.

Dora Lyrazopoulou

Pediatric Dentist


She graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1987.

She worked in private practice for one year in Athens.

She specialized in Pediatric Dentistry for two years at Boston University in Boston, USA, where she received her postgraduate diploma CAGS in Advanced Pediatric Dentistry in 1991.

Since 1991, she has been practicing exclusively in Pediatric Dentistry, maintaining a private practice.

She has been for a short time a scientific collaborator of the Laboratory of Pediatric Dentistry of the University of Athens.

She participated on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Pedodontic Society from 2016 to 2019.

She has been an active member of scientific societies in Greece and abroad and regularly participates in conferences and seminars related to the whole spectrum. She takes an active part in all the voluntary actions of the Athens Dental Association and the Hellenic Pediatric Dental Society.

Sofia Gourtsogianni

Pediatric Dentist


Sophia Gurchogianni was born and raised in Amfissa, Fokida, Greece. She graduated in 2002 from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She completed her postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Leeds, UK, from 2005 to 2008.

From 2008 to 2009, she worked as a Pediatric Dentist in a hospital clinic in England. Since 2009, she has been practicing exclusively as a Pediatric Dentist in Greece and she is a scientific collaborator at the Pediatric Dentistry Laboratory of the University of Athens.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Pediatric Dental Society for the term 2022-2023 and previously served on the council of the Hellenic Pediatric Dental Society during the period 2016-2019. She served as Vice President of the Preventive Committee of the Dental Association of Piraeus from 2014 to 2022.

She participated on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Pedodontic Society in 2016-2019.

She is a member of scientific societies in Greece (Hellenic Pediatric Dental Society, Hellenic Dental Association, Hellenic Society for Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics) and internationally (European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Paediatric Dentistry).

Marilena Limaki

Pediatric Dentist


Maria-Elena Limaki was born and raised in Rethymno, Crete. She received her degree from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant after graduating from the Military School of Officers (SSAS) in 2009. She completed her postgraduate program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2016. She worked in a pediatric dental clinic in the USA under the Optional Practical Training (OPT) program, providing clinical care for individuals with dental phobia and cooperation problems, as well as individuals with special needs (children and adolescents).

She has served as a Dental Officer at the 115 Combat Wing (Souda, Chania) while simultaneously working in a private dental center. Since 2017, she has been serving at the 251 General Air Force Hospital, where she is stationed in the Orthodontic Department and the Dental Treatment Department of the hospital.

She works privately in pediatric dental clinics in Athens (Toothcare Nea Smyrni, Toothcare² Galatsi).Since 2017, she has been volunteering in the Mobile Medical Units (MMU) program, a collaboration between the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Non-Profit Organization “Rebirth and Progress.” She has certified knowledge in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support. She is a member of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Dentistry (HSPD) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Katerina Papadimitriou

Orthodontist


Katerina Papadimitriou was born and raised in Trikala, Thessaly. She graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2013 and was commissioned as a Health Officer in the Hellenic Air Force from the Military Officers School (SSEAS) the same year.

She specialized in Orthodontics at AUTH for 4 years, obtaining a specialty title in Orthodontics and a postgraduate diploma "Master of Sciences in Orthodontics" with distinction (9.22).

She also earned a second postgraduate diploma "Master of Science in Public Health" from the National School of Public Health.
She has attended numerous postgraduate programs, including "Management, Marketing and Human Resources", "Biostatistics and Computed Statistics via SPSS", "Radiological Protection, Technique and Diagnosis via CBCT", and "Psychopathology of Infants, Children, and Adolescents" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is certified in "Basic Life Support (BLS)", "Advanced Life Support (ALS)", "Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)", and "Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)" protocols.

She has published a plethora of articles in domestic and international scientific journals and has participated with oral and poster presentations at numerous scientific conferences, receiving several awards for her research work.

She practices the full spectrum of Orthodontics, utilizing the latest technological advancements such as treatment with clear aligners (certified as an Invisalign Provider) and lingual Orthodontics (DW Lingual Systems GmbH). Her particular scientific interest lies in the treatment of patients with cooperation difficulties.

She is a member of the Northern Greece Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

Sofia Gratsia

Orthodontist


Gracia Sofia grew up in Patras and hails from Naxos. In 2011, she was admitted to the Dental School of the University of Athens, ranking first, and received an honorary award from the University, from which she graduated in 2016.

In 2019, she began her specialization in Orthodontics in the Orthodontics Department of the University of Athens, from which she received her Master of Science (MSc) in Orthodontics in July 2023. In September of the same year, she received the title of Specialist Orthodontist after examinations by the Central Health Council (KE.S.Y.) of the Ministry of Health.

As part of her specialization program, she completed a dissertation titled “Cervical headgear effectiveness in distalizing molars in relation to patients’ compliance,” which she published in the European Journal of Orthodontics. Additionally, she has presented her research work at national and international orthodontic conferences and published in Greek and international journals.

Alongside her studies, she completed a Continuing Education Program at the Clinical Diagnostic and Radiology Department of the Dental School of the University of Athens, focusing on “Maxillofacial Radiology with an emphasis on Digital Techniques and Dental Computed Tomography,” receiving certification in modern imaging techniques of the maxillofacial region.

She is a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) and the Hellenic Orthodontic Society/Greek Association for Orthodontic Study and Research (GAOSR).

Filia Anagnostou

Pediatric Dentist


Filia was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the School of Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and the Military School of Officer Corps (M.S.O.C.) in 2012 as a Dental Officer in the Hellenic Air Force with the rank of Second Lieutenant. After completing her training in the Dental Department of the 251 General Air Force Hospital, she served as a dentist and operational staff member of the health service in various H.A.F. units (130 Combat Wing-Lemnos, 128 Telecommunications Training Wing-Kavouri, 350 Guided Missile Wing-Thessaloniki), participating as Super Puma crew in airlift and search and rescue missions.

She received her first master's degree in "Public Health" from the University of West Attica (formerly National School of Public Health), delivering the graduation speech as the top graduate.

In 2017, she enrolled in the Postgraduate Program in "Pediatric Dentistry" at the School of Dentistry of A.U.Th., which she completed with "Excellence," obtaining her second master's degree.

Meanwhile, she worked in private pediatric dental clinics in Thessaloniki (2018-2023) and conducted oral health education programs in regional schools.

Since 2023, she has assumed duties as a Senior Registrar in the Dental Treatment Department of the 251 G.A.H. She is certified in first aid (BLS, PHTLS).

She actively participates in domestic and international conferences with attendances, papers, and presentations, and her written work is featured in international journals. She is an active member of the Hellenic Society of Paediatric Dentistry (HSPD) and the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (EAPD).

Athanasia Pavlou

Pediatric Dentist


Athanasia Pavlou was born and raised in Piraeus. She graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2018. During her studies, she worked as a dental assistant and later volunteered as a dentist in the Dental Treatment Department of the General Air Force Hospital (251 GNA) in 2018.

She served as an assistant in the Postgraduate Pediatric Dentistry Clinic at NKUA from 2018 to 2022. Since 2019, she has been working in private pediatric dental clinics, providing dental services to children and adolescents. She has participated in volunteer activities within the framework of the "HEALTHY ATHLETES" program of the Special Olympics and oral hygiene workshops.

She has presented free and poster presentations at scientific conferences in Greece and abroad. Her research interests include developmental anomalies of dental tissues and the treatment of special needs patients.

As part of her continuing education, she has attended the training program "Promotion of Mental Health for Children and Adolescents" at the University of West Attica and the program "Writing Scientific Publications in Health Sciences" at NKUA.

Elena Kyriakou

Pediatric Dentist


Elena Kyriakou was born in Athens. After graduating from Leonteio High School in Nea Smyrni, she started her studies at the Dental School of Athens (EKPA). During her studies, she worked as a dental assistant in an orthodontic practice.

After graduating, she worked as a general dentist in a private clinic in Athens. Since September 2023, she has been part of the Toothcare team, providing dental services to children and adolescents.

She volunteers in the Orthodontic Department of the Hellenic Air Force General Hospital (251 GNA) and participates in research studies in the fields of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.

Niki Loukogiorgaki

Orthodontist


Niki Loukogiorgaki was born in Athens. After graduating from Avgoulea-Linardatou School in 2017, she began her studies at the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), completing her degree in September 2022. She then worked as a general dentist while also working in an orthodontic clinic. Since October 2023, she has been pursuing a postgraduate program in Public Health. Additionally, she volunteers in the Orthodontics Department of the Hellenic Air Force General Hospital (251 HAFGH) and actively participates in research related to orthodontics.

Xristina Minasidou

Secretary


Christina graduated from the School of Marketing and Advertising at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.

She has worked in multinational companies (Tria Epsilon, Inditex, Balkan Shipping, etc.) in the fields of Commercial Finance and Secretarial Support.

Since 2020, she has taken on the role of Health Manager in dental clinics, organizing the development of effective strategies for their seamless operation and excellent communication with partners and patients.

Anastasia Kakolyri

Dental Assistant


Anastasia is a graduate in Surgical Nursing and completed her practical training at the General Hospital of Nikaia in the emergency department, surgical clinic, and sterilization department.

She has attended numerous educational seminars for orthodontic assistants by the Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Study Society.

Since 2006, she has been working as an assistant in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, holding the position of clinic supervisor where she was responsible for their excellent organization.

Michaela Boutzali

Dental Assistant


Michaela graduated from the four-year midwifery program at Aegean College (BSc in Midwifery) in 2016. She has attended seminars on first aid (CPR) and neonatal resuscitation, parenthood preparation, and obstetric emergencies.

After completing her studies, she worked in private obstetric-gynecological clinics, where she provided blood sampling services, performed Pap smear tests, and offered administrative support.

Since 2019, she has been working in pediatric-dental and orthodontic clinics as a clinical dental assistant and surgical assistant for special needs patients under general anesthesia.

Since 2021, she has been working at Toothcare as a clinical assistant in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Her areas of interest include digital intraoral scanning and the prevention and promotion of oral hygiene.

Zoe Emmanouildi

Doctor Assistant


Zoe was born in Athens. She graduated in 2011 from IEK SVIE's "Physical Therapy Assistant" Department. In 2020, she obtained a professional specialization diploma from IEK SVIE as a "Dental Assistant," and in 2023, she received a certification in the Training Program for the use and application of Laser Hair Removal from the University of West Attica.

She completed her internship at a private physiotherapy clinic in Peristeri, where she worked from 2011 to 2016. From 2018 to 2022, she worked at a pediatric dental clinic in Dasos Chaidariou and participated in the volunteer program for the 2011 Athens Special Olympics World Games.

Zoe loves children, Santorini, contributing to others, and personal development, and she has found a way to combine these passions. She currently resides permanently in Santorini and works at ToothCare3 and Dermology Clinics.

Yianna Dimitriou

Dental Assistant


Yianna was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the Midwifery Department of the Athens University of Applied Sciences in 2007 and completed her internship at "Aretaieio" Hospital of the University of Athens. From 2007 to 2016, she worked in large maternity clinics, specifically in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), also serving as a supervisor.

In 2016, she moved to Santorini. Until the end of 2021, she worked in a dental clinic as a secretary and clinical assistant in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontology, Surgical Extractions, and Dental Implants.

From 2022 to 2023, she worked in a Microbiology Laboratory, providing phlebotomy services and administrative support. Today, she works at Toothcare³ as a clinical assistant in pediatric dentistry.

Ilianna Agrogianni

Secretary


Ilianna was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Peloponnese. In the past, she has worked in sales and client service, and since 2021, she has been in administrative support roles in medical clinics.

She started working at ToothCare in May 2022, taking on administrative support and coordinating clinic activities. In her free time, she practices yoga, enjoys mountain walks, and reads books on psychology.

Kellie Karytsioti

Secretary


Kellie Karytsioti was born in Athens and graduated from the 22nd General Lyceum of Athens. Currently, she is studying at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the Department of Turkish, Modern and Asian Studies, aiming to graduate within the year.

Recently, she obtained certification in Digital Marketing after attending seminars. Her passion for children and her work experience in childcare and creative activities with young children have led her to work today as a secretary at our Orthodontic-Pediatric clinic in Galatsi.

Sofia Karampoulat

Dental Assistant


Sophia Karampoulat was born and raised in Athens. She is currently training as a dental assistant at the "Merimna" Institute. She is communicative and eager to help, with experience in customer service.

She has worked in dental clinics, particularly in the field of Orthodontics, both in clinical and dental technical roles. She continues to enhance her knowledge and skills in these areas.

She enjoys working with children and stays informed about managing emergency cases and patients with dental anxieties.

Since October, she has been working at ToothCare clinic as a clinical assistant in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, specializing in aligners.

Antonia Karlatira

Dental Assistant


Antonia graduated from the Nursing School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2021, completing her two-month internship in the cardiology department of the General Laiko Hospital of Athens.

During her studies, she volunteered with creative activities for hospitalized children at the "Agia Sophia" Children's Hospital.

She is a member of the Nurses' Association of Greece and attends conferences and training programs focusing on pediatric patients, emergency cases, and primary care.

She is certified in the "Basic Life Support and Pediatric Emergency First Aid and AED" program. Since 2021, she has been working at Toothcare as a pediatric dentist assistant.

Eleni Zafeiropoulou

Secretary


Eleni graduated from the Nursing School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and since February 2023, following successful completion of entrance exams, she has been an undergraduate student at the School of Dentistry at NKUA.

During her student years, she attended seminars on first aid (Primary and Secondary Care CPR/First Aid-Adult/Child/Infant), pediatrics, psychiatry, and oncology, which are still areas of interest for her.

She speaks English and German and holds a computer literacy certificate. She emphasizes attention to detail and is inspired by the values of volunteering. Since 2021, she has been working at ToothCare, gaining experience in dental services as a pediatric dental assistant and providing administrative support.

Dimitris Asimakopoulos

Financial Manager


Dimitris was born and raised in Nea Philadelphia. He graduated from the School of Business Administration and Management of the University of the Aegean.

He worked for 15 years at an auditing firm as a Certified Public Accountant, handling numerous regular, tax audits, and various specialized tasks for listed and non-listed companies. Today, he is the Chief Financial Officer at a Food Industry company, and since 2020, he has been the Financial Administrator for all Toothcare clinics.
